Who we work with

Where you are decides where we start

A startup, a growing business and an enterprise IT team need different things from a technology partner. These are the situations we are set up for, and the engagement each one usually begins with.

  • Startups and product teams

You need a SaaS, web or mobile product built and run, before you have the engineering team to do it yourself.

    Usually starts withProject delivery

    SaaS & PaaS product engineering
  • Growing businesses

Work runs on spreadsheets and tools that do not talk to each other, and the workarounds now cost more than they save.

Usually starts withAssessment, then project delivery

    Custom software development
  • Enterprises and IT teams

You have systems and a roadmap, and need specialist capacity in cloud, data, security or AI — or an independent view before a large decision.

Usually starts withAssessment or embedded capacity

    IT strategy & consulting
  • Appointment-based businesses

Salons, spas and clinics that need booking, client records, payments and marketing in one system rather than four.

Usually starts withUpkilo, our own platform

    Upkilo

What we do

Build it, operate it, and keep it discoverable

16 services across four groups. Each one is a discipline we will do properly or decline — not a line item added to widen a proposal.

Our own product

We did not just write about shipping a SaaS platform. We shipped one.

Upkilo is an AI-powered business management platform for appointment-based service businesses, combining booking, CRM, payments, marketing automation and analytics in one system. It is Kornspire's own SaaS product — designed, built, operated and licensed in-house.

Tenancy, billing, release safety and support load are decisions we made and now live with — the same decisions a client's platform faces in its second year.

What running it has made routine

  • Multi-tenant SaaS architecture

Tenant isolation, per-tenant configuration and multi-location support, with the isolation model enforced in the data layer rather than by convention.

SaaS & PaaS Product Engineering →
  • Payments and subscription billing

Multiple payment providers and methods, subscriptions, packages and gift cards, with idempotent handling and revenue that reconciles.

SaaS & PaaS Product Engineering →
  • AI features in production

A booking assistant and scheduling intelligence running against real customer traffic — with the guardrails, cost profile and escalation path that a demo never needs.

AI & Machine Learning Engineering →
  • Messaging and automation at scale

SMS and email sequences through third-party providers, with delivery handling, scheduling and consent respected per channel.

    Automation & Digital Transformation →
  • Security and data-protection engineering

Encryption in transit and at rest, and built-in data export and erasure tooling — the engineering side of data-protection obligations, built in rather than retrofitted.

    Cybersecurity & Information Security →
  • Analytics on operational data

Revenue, retention, staff performance and campaign return modelled from the transactional system without degrading it.

Why Kornspire

How we work, written down so you can hold us to it

Six commitments that hold for every engagement — and the promises we refuse to make, because no honest supplier can keep them.

  1. 01

Scope in writing, before work starts

Every engagement begins with a written statement of what is being built, what is explicitly not in scope, how completion will be judged and what we need from you. Ambiguity is resolved on paper, where it is cheap.

  2. 02

Claims we can evidence, and no others

We measure before and after, and we report what the measurement supports. We do not guarantee search rankings, AI mentions or percentage savings, because no honest supplier can control those outcomes.

  3. 03

    You own the result outright

Source code, infrastructure definitions, documentation and credentials live in your accounts and repositories. Nothing we deliver requires continued access to a Kornspire-controlled system unless you have chosen a managed arrangement.

  4. 04

    Built to be handed over

Automated tests, architecture decision records and runbooks are part of delivery, not an upsell. The measure of a system is whether your team can safely change it after we leave.

  5. 05

    Security and accessibility as defaults

Least-privilege access, managed secrets, dependency hygiene and WCAG 2.2 AA are part of the definition of done. Where something cannot meet the standard, we document the limitation rather than shipping it quietly.

  6. 06

We will tell you not to build it

If configuration beats custom code, if a website beats an app, or if a database beats a blockchain, that is the recommendation — even when the smaller engagement is worth less to us.

The detail behind these commitments — architecture decision records, review standards, testing, security and incident response — is published as our engineering playbook (opens in a new tab).

What we will not promise

  • Off-page link acquisition or any practice that breaches search-engine guidelines
  • Guaranteed search rankings, guaranteed AI assistant mentions, or guaranteed cost savings
  • Compliance certification or audit sign-off — we build and evidence controls; accredited auditors certify
  • Legal, tax or regulatory advice, including data-protection determinations
  • Offensive security work, and any testing outside a written, authorised scope

Scope, stated plainly

Kornspire Private Limited is registered for three objects. Every service page names the one it sits under, so you can check the company is registered to do the work.

Clause 1 — Software, platforms and products

To carry on the business of developing, designing, programming, implementing, maintaining, licensing, buying, selling and otherwise dealing in computer software, customised applications, mobile applications, websites, web portals, digital platforms, information systems and other technology-based products and solutions, including Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).

Clause 2 — IT consultancy and technology-enabled services

To provide information technology consultancy, advisory and technology-enabled services, including IT strategy, system analysis and integration, cloud computing and hosting, data processing, database management and analytics, cybersecurity and information security, networking, IT infrastructure, application management, automation, digital transformation, technical support and managed services.

Clause 3 — Research, development and emerging technologies

To undertake research, development, training and commercialisation in information technology and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics and other allied technologies, and to develop and provide related digital, technology-enabled and innovative solutions in India and abroad.

How an engagement runs

Six steps, and the first one is free

No stage begins before the previous one has produced something you can read, use or reject.

Start with step one
  1. 01

    Understand

    Free

A conversation about the outcome you need and the constraints you are working inside — budget, deadline, existing systems, team capacity. If we are not the right firm for it, this is where we say so.

  2. 02

    Scope

A written scope: what will be delivered, what is explicitly excluded, how completion is judged, what we need from you, and the assumptions the estimate rests on.

  3. 03

    Design

Architecture, data model and interface design, with every significant decision recorded alongside the alternatives considered and the reason for the choice.

  4. 04

    Build in slices

Vertical slices that each reach a demonstrable state, with automated tests and continuous integration from the first commit rather than the last sprint.

  5. 05

    Harden

Security review, accessibility audit, performance measurement against budget, and a rehearsed migration or release path — before go-live, not after an incident.

  6. 06

    Hand over or operate

Documentation, runbooks and a working session with your team. From there, either your engineers own it or we operate it under an agreed managed service.

Industries

What we build for your sector

The systems we build and run in six sectors, designed around the constraints each one imposes — confidentiality, reconciliation, intermittent connectivity, plant-floor segmentation.

Illustrative scenarios

Not case studies. We publish client work only with the client's consent and real figures, so these describe the problems we are built to solve and how success would be measured — with no invented results.

All illustrative scenarios
  1. From a spreadsheet estate to one operations platform

A services business coordinates work across eleven spreadsheets and a shared mailbox. Everyone knows which file is authoritative, except when they do not.

  2. Turning one customer's application into a product

An application built for a single customer has attracted three more. Each new customer currently requires manual database work to onboard.

  3. Field work that continues when the network stops

Field technicians complete jobs in basements, plant rooms and rural sites. The existing mobile web form loses entered work whenever the connection drops.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

The questions buyers actually ask before committing money — answered without evasion.

What does Kornspire do?

Kornspire is a technology company based in India that designs, builds and runs software — custom applications, SaaS platforms, and web and mobile apps — and provides the cloud, data, security and AI engineering behind them, for startups, growing businesses and enterprises in India and abroad. It also builds and operates its own SaaS product, Upkilo, and undertakes research, development and training in emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, blockchain and robotics.

Is Kornspire an established company with existing clients?

It is a new company with a product already in paid use. Kornspire Private Limited was incorporated in India in September 2026, and it runs Upkilo — our own multi-tenant SaaS platform for appointment-based businesses, with paying customers — which we designed, built, operate and license. We do not yet publish client case studies, logos or testimonials: client work appears only with the client’s consent and with real figures. What you can test before spending anything is the product, the reasoning in our technical writing, a written scope before any billable hour, and an explicit list of what we will not promise.

Why would we choose a new firm over an established one?

Sometimes you should not, and we will say so — a programme needing sector-specific regulatory experience or a large parallel team is better served elsewhere. Where a firm of our size is a genuine advantage is engagements that reward senior attention: you deal directly with the people doing the work, scope is written rather than inherited from a template, and there is no incentive to extend an engagement past its useful life. Judge the reasoning in this site's technical writing and the product we run, then test both against a small, well-defined piece of work.

Where is Kornspire based, and where do you work?

Kornspire is based in India and works with organisations in India and abroad, which is part of the company's stated business objects. Engagements are delivered remotely by default, with on-site time where the work genuinely requires it — plant-floor systems, field operations and in-person workshops being the usual cases.

How do engagements start?

With a conversation about the outcome and the constraints, followed by a written scope before any billable work. For larger or less certain problems, the sensible first step is usually a fixed-scope assessment: you get a prioritised written report you can act on with any supplier, and both sides learn how the other works before committing to a longer engagement.

Who owns the code and the intellectual property?

You do. Work is delivered into repositories and cloud accounts you control, with third-party dependency licences documented. Nothing we build requires continued access to a Kornspire-hosted system unless you have specifically chosen a managed service.

Can you guarantee search rankings or AI assistant mentions?

No. Ranking and generative-answer placement are decided by systems no supplier controls, and any guarantee of them is either a misrepresentation or a plan that risks a penalty. What we commit to is the engineering: crawlability, rendering, structured data, performance, entity consistency and citable content structure — measured before and after, and reported honestly.

What technologies does Kornspire work with?

Primarily TypeScript and React with Next.js on the web; .NET, Node.js and Python for services; React Native for mobile; PostgreSQL and SQL Server for data; and Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform on Azure or AWS. We choose from what fits the problem and your team's ability to maintain it, and we will recommend a stack we do not favour when it is the better fit for you.

Tell us what you are trying to build

A first conversation costs nothing and usually ends in one of three ways: a written scope, a recommendation to do something smaller, or an honest suggestion that we are not the right firm for it.
