Healthcare & Clinics
Kornspire builds and operates healthcare software: patient administration, appointment and records systems, integrations and secure infrastructure designed around confidentiality and auditability.
What we build
What we can build and run in this sector
Patient administration and scheduling
Appointment booking, rescheduling and reminders, queue and consultation flow, and billing records that reconcile with the clinical record.
Records and document handling
Structured clinical and administrative records with append-only history, document storage, and export for continuity of care.
Integration with labs and devices
Interfaces to laboratory and diagnostic systems, including standards-based exchange where the counterparty supports it.
Access control and audit
Role-based access aligned to clinical roles, break-glass procedures, and audit trails that answer who saw or changed which record.
Resilient infrastructure
Availability design for clinic hours, tested restore procedures, and a documented degraded-mode path when connectivity fails.
Pressures
What this sector demands of the engineering
Healthcare software carries a weight that most business software does not: a record that is wrong, unavailable or disclosed causes direct harm. Clinics and diagnostic providers also run on tight margins and small administrative teams, so systems have to be genuinely simple to operate while remaining rigorous underneath.
01Patient data must be confidential, access-controlled and audited end to end
02Appointment and reminder workflows drive both revenue and clinical continuity
03Records are fragmented across practice systems, labs, pharmacies and devices
04Small administrative teams cannot absorb complicated software
05Downtime during clinic hours has immediate clinical and financial consequences
Constraints
Regulatory and operational limits we design around
Engineering controls, not legal advice
We build and evidence the technical controls compliance depends on. Determining which obligations apply to your organisation is a matter for your legal and compliance advisers.
- India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 treats health data as sensitive in practice and demands purpose limitation, minimisation and deletion discipline
- Where records cross borders or serve international patients, GDPR obligations may also apply
- Retention periods are driven by clinical and statutory requirements, not by convenience
- Consent for reminders and marketing communication must be recorded and revocable
Answers
Healthcare & Clinics: questions
Can Kornspire build software that handles patient data lawfully?
We build the engineering controls that lawful handling depends on: data classification, purpose-limited collection, role-based access with audit, encryption in transit and at rest, retention and deletion rules, and breach-detection readiness. The legal determination of your obligations — under India's DPDP Act 2023 and any other applicable regime — rests with your legal advisers and, where required, your data protection officer. We implement and evidence the controls; we do not provide legal advice.
Do you integrate with existing hospital or clinic systems?
Where the incumbent system exposes an interface, yes — API, database view, standards-based exchange such as HL7 or FHIR, or file-based transfer. The first step is establishing what the existing system actually permits, because vendor documentation and reality often differ. That assessment comes before any integration commitment.
