Financial Services & Fintech

Kornspire builds financial-services software with correctness and auditability first: ledger and reconciliation design, payment integrations, access control, audit trails and secure infrastructure.

What we build

What we can build and run in this sector

Ledger and transaction design

Append-only records, double-entry modelling where appropriate, idempotency keys and correction through reversal rather than mutation.

Reconciliation systems

Automated matching against provider and bank statements, break reporting with ageing, and a controlled adjustment workflow.

Payment and provider integration

Gateway and banking integrations with webhook verification, replay safety, and explicit handling of partial and pending states.

Controls and auditability

Segregation of duties, maker-checker approval, immutable audit logs and exportable evidence for auditors.

Secure infrastructure

Network and data isolation, secret management with rotation, encryption, and access review on a fixed cadence.

Pressures

What this sector demands of the engineering

Financial software is judged by whether numbers can be proved. Double-counted transactions, unreconciled balances and unexplained adjustments are not cosmetic defects — they are the failure of the product's core promise. The engineering discipline that matters most is unglamorous: immutable records, idempotent operations, reconciliation and complete audit trails.

01Every monetary movement must be traceable and reproducible

02Payment and banking integrations must be idempotent and reconcilable

03Access to financial data requires strict, reviewable, least-privilege control

04Regulatory and audit reporting must be generated from source records, not assembled by hand

05Correctness cannot be traded for delivery speed

Constraints

Regulatory and operational limits we design around

Engineering controls, not legal advice

We build and evidence the technical controls compliance depends on. Determining which obligations apply to your organisation is a matter for your legal and compliance advisers.

  • Financial services in India are regulated, and applicable RBI and sectoral requirements must be confirmed with your compliance function
  • Cardholder data is kept out of scope wherever a compliant gateway permits it
  • Data localisation requirements may dictate where systems and backups physically run
  • Audit evidence retention is set by regulation, not by product preference

Answers

Financial Services & Fintech: questions

Does Kornspire provide regulatory compliance certification?

No. We are an engineering firm, not a compliance authority or a licensed advisory. We build and evidence technical controls — auditability, access control, encryption, reconciliation, retention — and support your compliance function and auditors with the documentation they need. Interpretation of regulatory obligations belongs with your compliance and legal advisers.

How do you prevent double-counted or lost transactions?

With idempotency keys on every externally triggered operation, append-only records where corrections are made by reversal rather than edit, exactly-once processing semantics at the integration boundary, and scheduled reconciliation that reports breaks instead of assuming agreement. These are design decisions taken at the start; they are difficult to add to a system that did not begin with them.
