Logistics & Supply Chain
Kornspire builds logistics software: offline-capable field applications, shipment tracking, partner integrations, telemetry ingestion and operational dashboards for supply chain operations.
What we build
What we can build and run in this sector
Offline-first field applications
Mobile applications with local persistence, queued operations, conflict rules and explicit sync state for drivers and warehouse staff.
Shipment and consignment tracking
Event-sourced status history that tolerates out-of-order and duplicate events, with a reconstructable timeline per consignment.
Partner and carrier integration
Integration layer normalising varied partner formats, with retries, dead-letter handling and reconciliation reporting.
Telemetry and IoT ingestion
Vehicle and sensor telemetry ingestion, time-series storage, geofencing and cold-chain or condition alerting.
Operational dashboards
Exception-first views that surface what needs intervention now, built on governed data rather than ad-hoc queries.
Pressures
What this sector demands of the engineering
Logistics software is defined by conditions its designers do not control. Work happens in basements, warehouses and moving vehicles where connectivity is intermittent. Data arrives late, out of order, or twice. Partners exchange information in whatever format they already use. Systems that assume a stable network and a cooperative counterparty fail in the field.
01Field staff and drivers work where connectivity is unreliable or absent
02Status data arrives late, duplicated or out of sequence
03Partners and carriers each impose their own integration formats
04Proof of delivery and exception evidence must hold up in a dispute
05Planners need current operational visibility, not yesterday's report
Constraints
Regulatory and operational limits we design around
Engineering controls, not legal advice
We build and evidence the technical controls compliance depends on. Determining which obligations apply to your organisation is a matter for your legal and compliance advisers.
- Location and driver data is personal data and needs purpose limitation and retention rules under the DPDP Act 2023
- Proof-of-delivery evidence must be tamper-evident and retrievable for the dispute window
- Customs and statutory documentation requirements vary by corridor and cannot be generalised
- Device fleets need managed updates and revocable identity
Answers
Logistics & Supply Chain: questions
How do you handle drivers working without network coverage?
The data layer is designed for it before any screen is drawn: work is stored locally, actions queue as intent rather than as completed writes, and conflicts resolve by explicit rules instead of last-write-wins. The application also shows sync state honestly, so a driver knows whether a delivery has actually been recorded.
Can you integrate with carriers that have no modern API?
Usually, yes. Carrier integration frequently means scheduled file exchange, email-attached documents or a legacy endpoint. We build an integration layer that normalises those inputs, retries safely, quarantines what it cannot parse, and reports reconciliation differences rather than silently dropping records.
