Privacy policy

A short policy, because this site does very little with personal data. Analytics only if you accept them, no advertising partners, and no profile built of you either way.

Effective

Who is responsible

Kornspire Private Limited, a company registered in India with its registered office at Sr. no.317, Plot No.152, Rutuja Park, Uruli Devachi, Haveli, Pune, Maharashtra, 412308, India, is responsible for personal data collected through this website. Questions about this policy, or any request relating to your data, can be sent to privacy@kornspire.com.

What this website collects

This website uses Google Tag Manager to load analytics, which sets cookies in your browser and shares usage data with Google. Nothing that identifies or profiles you is set until you accept the consent banner: until then, and permanently if you decline, analytics run in a restricted mode that stores nothing on your device and reports no identifiers. Declining changes nothing about how the site works.

The personal data you actively give us is whatever you choose to submit through the contact form: your name, your email address, optionally your organisation and the service you are interested in, and the message you write.

A browser preference for light or dark theme is stored locally in your own browser. It never reaches our servers and it is not personal data.

Like any web server, the hosting infrastructure processes technical request data such as IP address and user agent in order to serve pages and to limit abuse of the contact form. This is not used to build a profile of you.

Cookies and your consent

Two things are stored on your device regardless of consent, because the site cannot work without them: your light or dark theme preference, and the record of the choice you made on the consent banner. Neither is shared with anyone and neither identifies you — storing the second is the only way to avoid asking you again on every page.

Analytics cookies are set only after you accept. Before that, Google's consent signals are all set to denied, which means its tags may count an anonymous visit but may not store an identifier, read one, or use anything about you for advertising or personalisation.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which erases the stored decision and makes the banner appear again. We do not treat silence as consent, and the banner does not expire into an acceptance.

Why it is collected, and on what basis

Contact form submissions are used for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and to carry on any resulting correspondence. They are not added to a marketing list, sold, shared with advertisers, or used to target you elsewhere.

Technical request data is processed for the legitimate purpose of operating the site securely and preventing automated abuse.

Analytics data is processed to understand which pages are useful and where the site fails its readers. The basis is your consent, and nothing about analytics is treated as legitimate interest — which is why declining is a real option rather than a cosmetic one.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months. Correspondence relating to an active or completed engagement is retained for as long as the engagement and any applicable statutory or contractual record-keeping requirement demands, and then deleted.

Abuse-prevention records associated with the contact form are short-lived and are not retained beyond what is needed to apply the rate limit.

Who else can see it

Email delivery and website hosting are provided by third-party processors, who process the data only on our instructions and only to provide those services. We do not transfer personal data to any other party for that party's own purposes.

If you accept analytics, Google receives usage data about your visit and processes it under its own terms as well as ours. That is a transfer outside India, and it is the one recipient on this list you can prevent entirely — by declining the banner.

Where a processor operates outside India, we rely on that provider's contractual commitments regarding data handling and security.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to privacy@kornspire.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We will delete on request unless a specific legal or contractual obligation requires us to retain something, in which case we will tell you what and why.

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may raise a grievance with us first, and you retain the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Contact submissions are validated server-side and transmitted to our mailbox over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry correspondence is limited to the people who need it in order to reply.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published here with a new effective date. Material changes affecting how existing enquiry data is used will be notified to affected individuals directly where we hold a means of contacting them.

This policy describes our practices. It is not legal advice, and it does not determine your own organisation’s obligations.
